Want to build your career in banking?

Get paid while you train, ongoing support, opportunities at leading global employers – the Alumni graduate program gives you everything you need. (And don’t worry, there’s no training bond. No exit fees, no hidden catches).

Here at Wiley Edge, we pair great graduates with brilliant global businesses. Our clients include tier one investment banks and other organizations across a range of industries, from insurance to healthcare to travel.

What you'll do:

You can expect your work to be fulfilling, challenging and full of opportunities for progression. You’ll be recognized and rewarded by your organization for being part of a team that plays a critical role in the bank’s performance. With the increase in regulatory scrutiny over the past decade, banking services has become the sharp tip of a bank’s competitive edge.

Below are some of the niches you could get into, depending on our clients’ needs at the time. (It’s OK if you haven’t heard of these before. Once you’ve applied, our team will help explain them in more detail):

  • Trade support (securities, treasury, transaction management).
  • Risk, regulation and compliance (credit risk, market risk, controls, reporting).
  • Client lifecycle management (KYC/AML, CDD, risk assessment).
  • Regulatory transformation (business analysis, project management, client outreach).
  • Data (governance, management, remediation, analysis).
  • Anti-financial crime.

  • The inner workings of investment banks, from sales to back office processes.
  • How to recognize and combat the exploitation of financial services companies as a vehicle for specific types of financial crime.
  • The role of regulatory law and other key bodies in combating financial crime.
  • Excel, data-mapping and processing, reporting tools and applications, workflow, best practices and risks and controls to combat financial crime.
  • A basis in business analysis and project management (business requirement gathering, procedures, mapping and workflows, budgeting and reporting).

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, finance, law, economics, mathematics) from any university.
